Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Part Time Flight Surgeon to support the 711th HPW & USAFSAM/FEC, Aerospace at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. The role requires extensive aerospace medical expertise and a minimum of 10 years of active duty flight surgeon experience.

Responsibilities include conducting medical and FAA examinations, ensuring compliance with MSD and DAFMAN 48-123, and delivering aeromedical training courses. Must maintain board certification and clinical privileges.

Qualifications

• Current board certification in one of the listed specialties (Aerospace Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Neurology, or Preventive Medicine).
• Physicians must maintain clinical privileges with a minimum of 32 hours per year.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical examinations to determine fitness for flying duties.
• Perform FAA examinations and submit documentation for certification.
• Support aeromedical recommendations and order consultations as needed.
• Apply MSD/DAFMAN 48-123 requirements to examinations and training.
• Provide medical briefings and training in multiple aerospace medicine courses.
