Job summary

AoPS Academy is seeking a part-time Math Instructor for the 2026-2027 academic year in Sugar Land, TX. In this role you will teach advanced math using a company-designed curriculum, engage students through interactive, student-led activities, and manage small classes with up to 16 students.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree (STEM or education preferred), has strong math knowledge, and prior teaching or tutoring experience, especially in K-12 settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related or educational field is strongly preferred.
• Strong content knowledge in math.
• Experience teaching or tutoring students.
• Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Engaging Curriculum using company-created materials for advanced students.
• Engage students actively and promote student-led learning.
• Classroom management of up to 16 students.
