Job summary

Assign, a leading NDIS provider, is seeking a Disability Support Worker to assist clients in achieving goals and increasing independence within the Home and Community setting. You will support daily living, participate in meaningful learning experiences, and promote positive behaviours under the NDIS framework.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, respect for client choices, and collaboration with families and carers.

Qualifications

• Reliable and compassionate, with a client-centred approach.
• Ability to support daily living activities and promote independence.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to attend social outings, community activities, shopping trips and medical appointments.
• Assist clients in their homes with personal care and activities of daily living, including toileting, showering and dressing.
• Provide light domestic assistance, meal preparation and eating support.
• Administer medication in line with care plans and organisational procedures.
• Liaise with clients' families, carers and representatives as required.
