Job summary

Incluso Services Pty Ltd in Victoria is seeking enthusiastic Disability Support Workers to join on a casual basis, supporting participants to live independently and engage in community activities.

You will provide day-to-day personal care, transport, and companionship, work with families and multidisciplinary teams, and help participants achieve goals in a respectful, person-centred way.

A commitment to inclusion and safety, current Australian work rights and relevant checks preferred.

Qualifications

• Compassionate approach to disability support and daily living.
• Strong verbal and written communication with participants and families.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with care teams.
• Demonstrates empathy, patience, and resilience in challenging situations.
• Willingness to learn and follow policies and procedures.
• Understanding of person-centered care principles and NDIA processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to participants in the community, promoting independence and dignity.
• Assist with personal care routines and mobility support.
• Support with meal preparation and domestic tasks to enhance daily living skills.
• Offer transport and accompany participants to activities, appointments, and events.
• Foster personal development and help participants achieve their goals.
• Build trusting relationships and advocate for participant choices and preferences.
• Collaborate with families, carers and the care team to ensure coordinated support.
