Job summary

LearnWell in Lewiston, ME is seeking a dedicated part-time teacher to support adolescent learners in a residential behavioral health facility. The role focuses on delivering daily lesson plans and individualized instruction in a small classroom setting as students receive treatment.

You will report student progress, adjust teaching strategies as needed, and maintain attendance and session reports. Class sizes range from 8 to 15 students, with a year-round schedule and a 20-hour workweek

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Maine teaching license required; substitute licenses will not be considered.
• Comfortable working with 7th-12th grade students.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans.
