Job summary

LearnWell in Portland, ME seeks a part-time teacher to provide academic support to child and adolescent patients in a behavioral health facility. You will plan and deliver daily lessons, offer individualized assistance, and track student progress in a small classroom.

The role is 12 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 9:00–12:00 pm, based at a behavioral health facility. A BA/BS and a Maine teaching license are required, with comfort teaching K-12 students. The classroom typically hosts 8–15 students.

This part-time position is based in Portland, ME and involves working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to child and adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.
