Job summary

LearnWell seeks a passionate teacher to support adolescent patients in a behavioral health facility in Westport, ME. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with a 40-hour work week and small class sizes.

You will plan daily lessons, provide individualized support, and communicate progress while adapting teaching strategies to drive student success. Benefits include PTO, holidays, health coverage, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution.
• Maine state teaching license.
• Comfortable working with adolescent students.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs.
• Reliable Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans.
• Provide individualized assistance to students.
• Regularly communicate about student progress.
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success.
• Maintain accurate attendance and session reports.
