National Health Care Associates, Inc. is seeking an Admissions Assistant for our Fairfield community. This part-time role offers 20 hours per week, with 4 hours daily from Monday to Friday, and an opportunity to be the first friendly contact for prospective residents and families.

You will guide applicants through the admissions process, prepare documentation, and coordinate with the Admissions Director to ensure a seamless and compassionate transition into our community.

Qualifikationen

• Business Administration degree or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of experience in long-term care admissions.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing admissions in a nursing facility.
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Aufgaben

• Welcome residents, families, and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and compassion.
• Guide prospective residents and families through the admissions process.
• Prepare and process all required admission documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain organized admission records and regulatory timelines.
• Answer and direct incoming calls, documenting messages.
• Respond to inquiries from residents, families, referral sources, and visitors.
• Process incoming and outgoing mail and perform general admin duties.
• Collaborate with the Admissions Director and interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while supporting residents and families.
