Job summary

Springside Rehabilitation & Nursing Center and Craneville Place Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Berkshire County are seeking a compassionate Admissions Assistant to support the admissions process. This is a 24-hour-per-week, part-time role split between the two centers with travel required.

You will welcome residents and families, complete admission paperwork, verify insurance, determine payer sources, provide tours, maintain records, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Professional phone etiquette and strong organizational abilities.
Experience in admissions, healthcare, or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

Welcome prospective residents, patients, and families with professionalism and compassion
Complete admission paperwork and packets with residents, patients, or responsible parties
Assist with gathering and verifying insurance and payer information
Determine payer source and explain financial responsibilities
Provide facility tours for prospective residents, families, and referral sources
Maintain accurate admission documentation and records
Support admissions from inquiry through admission
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and business office teams to facilitate admissions
