Springside Rehabilitation & Nursing Center (Pittsfield, MA) and Craneville Place Rehabilitation & Nursing Center (Dalton, MA) are seeking a compassionate, detail-orientedAdmissions Assistant to support the admissions process at our two Berkshire County skilled nursing facilities. This is a 24 hour per week role, split between these two centers. Travel required between both locations.

Welcome prospective residents, patients, and families with professionalism and compassion
Complete admission paperwork and admission packets with residents, patients, or responsible parties
Assist with gathering and verifying insurance and payer information
Determine payer source and explain any resident or patient financial responsibilities
Provide facility tours for prospective residents, families, and referral sources
Maintain accurate admission documentation and records
Support the admissions process from inquiry through admission
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations
Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and business office teams to facilitate smooth admissions
Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
Professional phone etiquette and strong organizational abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly regulated healthcare environment
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous admissions, customer service, healthcare, medical records, or long-term care experience preferred
Proficiency with basic computer systems and office software
