Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Part Time Admissions Assistant (Non Nurse) to facilitate the admission process and support patients and families in a post-acute care setting.

The role requires gathering admission paperwork, assisting at admission, and coordinating follow-up visits. You will conduct tours for new patients and families, ensure confidentiality, and maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.

Responsibilities

• Gather and enter all necessary admission paperwork.
• Provide assistance for patient and family at time of admission.
• Assist with follow up visits and interviews with all new patients after admission.
• Assist or solely provide facility tours to potential and newly admitted patients, families, and any visitors.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
