The Coastal Health District in Savannah, GA is seeking an onsite part-time Administrative Assistant to support referrals processing and office operations. You will enter referrals into the BCW database, assign coordinators, and communicate with referral sources efficiently.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of related experience. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and timely documentation in a public health setting.

This is an onsite part-time hourly office position which requires reporting to the Savannah office to complete administrative duties, attend meetings and/or training. Part-time positions work up to 29 hours per week and are not eligible for benefits.
All Coastal Health District, County Health Department employees are deemed essential employees in the event of an emergency. As such, you may be called on to participate in an event not limited to but including, staffing a shelter, a Specimen Point of Collection Site (SPOC) and/or Point of Dispensing site (POD). When you are called on to participate, you are expected and it will be a part of your job requirement to participate, whether the emergency occurs during or outside regular work hours.
Under limited supervision performs a wide range of office administrative duties to specifically include entering referrals received into the BCW database; assigning coordinators; emailing coordinators once a referral has been entered; sending letters to the referral source; replying to request for information; and sending requested information securely. Processes BCW reports; Attends required BCW / district trainings; Function as a team player; Other duties as assigned
