Job summary

Dallas College is seeking adjunct faculty for CIT ML/Data Analytics for AY 26/27 at Brookhaven Campus. Positions are on-site with potential hybrid arrangement after six months based on responsibilities and policy.

The role requires teaching online courses with on-campus presence in accordance with state law. Responsibilities include delivering courses effectively, maintaining office hours, and contributing to curriculum development while upholding college policies and meeting contractual

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher and at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline for credit courses.
• For workforce education degree or certificate courses: a combination of academic preparation and work experience, including three (3) years of direct or related work experience other than teaching.
• For developmental courses: Bachelor’s degree or higher in the specific teaching discipline and demonstrated competency (i.e., teaching experience, honors, graduate course work or other related accomplishments). Official transcripts will be required at time of interview.
• Bilingual or multilingual preferred.
• Will be subject to a criminal background check. Some positions may be subject to a fingerprint check.

Responsibilities

• Teaches students effectively in assigned classes and maintains office hours for student consultation.
• Provides students with a written course syllabus and participates in evaluation of the instructional process.
• Participates in development and support of the discipline by revising curricula and recommending teaching assignments.
• Maintains accurate and complete course records and participates in student advising and registration.
• Promotes the college in the community through marketing activities and participates in professional development hours.
