Job summary

Delaware Technical Community College is seeking an adjunct instructor for a Fall semester course in Human Services. The schedule includes Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., or Tuesdays 9:00 a.m.

to 12:30 p.m., with additional evening availability in the spring. The instructor will develop curricula, teach per syllabi, evaluate student learning, and foster student success, including advising and maintaining timely records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Four years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and instruct courses with engaging methods and appropriate use of LMS.
• Maintain posted office hours and provide student support.
• Evaluate and report student progress and attend to student records in a timely manner.
• Assist in curriculum development and program accreditation activities.
