• Design page layouts for print and digital formats.
• Develop logos and corporate identities.
• Design and refine user experiences (UX) and user interfaces (UI).
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite software products to complete design tasks.

NorthWest Arkansas Community College is seeking qualified applicants to establish a pool for part-time and/or substitute instructors in this discipline. Applications will be kept on file for the fiscal year ending June 30. When a position becomes available, the hiring department will review the applications on file. After each fiscal year end the application will expire and a new application must be completed to remain in the applicant pool. Email is the primary method that NWACC utilizes to communicate with its applicants. Essential Duties

• Apply design principles across various media and projects
• Create and edit digital photography assets
• Develop and design websites

Rate of pay: $765 per credit hour

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Graphic Design or related field is preferred.
• Instructional experience at a community college or other post-secondary institution is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software
• Demonstrated teaching ability is the top priority
• Ability to use an on-line platform (such as Canvas or Blackboard), online delivery of instruction, use of technology for instruction, and experience or interest in project-based, service learning, or inquiry-based learning will be given special consideration
