Job description

Position Overview

NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) invites applications for part‑time faculty positions in the Art Department, specifically teaching Art Appreciation courses. Assignments are term‑based (fall, spring, summer) and involve both in‑person and online instruction.

Rate of Pay

$765 per credit hour.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Art or Art History (required).
• Teaching experience at the community college or postsecondary level (preferred).
• Demonstrated teaching ability; instructional experience in a classroom setting.
• Experience using online learning management systems such as Canvas or similar.
• Experience with project‑based, service learning, or inquiry‑based instruction is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
