Job summary

NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) is seeking part-time faculty to design and deliver instruction across day, evening, and weekend classes. Job description

Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed when openings become available. Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis, which may include fall, spring, and summer. Postings close yearly and to maintain your application within the system, you will need to re-apply each year.

Essential Duties

Design and delivery of instruction for day, evening, and weekend classes. Responsible for student assessment and grading. Maintains adequate on-campus presence. Provides timely communication with students, staff, and administrators of the College.

Rate of Pay

$875 per credit hour

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience with leadership at a community college or educational institution is a plus. Demonstrated teaching ability is the top priority. Instructional experience and leadership experience at a community college is a priority. Ability to use an on-line platform. On-line delivery of instruction, use of technology for instruction, and experience or interest in project based, service learning, or inquiry-based learning will be given special consideration.
