Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies, Public Relations or English or related field.
  • Candidates with related work experience or specialized training may be considered.
  • Ability to teach and support adult learners in ESL/business context.
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Teach up to 27.5 hours per week in the adjunct role.
  • Prepare lesson plans for each class session.
  • Deliver lectures and facilitate Project-Based Learning (PBL) on business topics.
  • Assist students in the learning process and monitor progress.
  • Evaluate progress using various assessment tools and report SAP as needed.
  • Maintain records and participate in campus in-service meetings.
  • Stay informed on teaching advancements through professional development.
  • Organize field outings for student enrichment per module.
  • Contribute to program improvement via committee involvement.
  • Provide academic advising to support student growth and retention.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations
Bachelor's degree in English
Related field training or 2+ years experience
