Job summary

Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio, seeks an Adjunct Instructor in the School of Behavioral Sciences to teach undergraduate or graduate courses in criminology, psychology, sociology and/or counseling (graduate only); instructors will teach part-time on an as-needed basis and may teach in-person, hybrid, or online formats with varied class times.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or appropriate professional experience in a related field.
• Teaching/Instructional experience.
• Ph.D. or ABD in a related field.
• Documented background in the related instructional area.
• Two years of college-level teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in criminology, psychology, sociology and/or counseling (graduate only) as needed in Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters; courses could be in-person or online.
• Utilize innovative and collaborative teaching methods in support of the School’s mission and learning objectives.
• Perform other essential duties as assigned/as outlined in the Faculty Manual
