Job summary

Southwest Tennessee Community College in Memphis is seeking an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Technologies to teach Architectural Design Technology across multiple campus locations. This is a part-time adjunct role with compensation of $640 per credit hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years teaching experience in higher education or one year teaching plus three years in the field.
• Master’s degree as described above or equivalent with relevant graduate coursework.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers instruction on topics in Architectural Design Technology.
• Compiles, administers, evaluates and grades students' work and informs progress.
• Develops curricula and instructional materials such as syllabi and handouts.
• Maintains office hours and assists in student recruitment and retention.
• Maintains accurate attendance records and complies with FERPA regulations.
• Participates in faculty meetings and professional development.
• May perform other duties as assigned by Department Head/Dean.
