Job summary

William & Mary invites applications for a pool of qualified individuals for possible part-time adjunct teaching appointments in the Department of Applied Science. Beginning Spring 2027, they anticipate instructional needs in APSC 251 Engineering Design.

Adjunct faculty may teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, prepare syllabi, deliver instruction and assess learning, hold office hours, and fulfill other instructional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Applicants must hold a Masters or Ph.D. in Engineering Physics, Engineering, Applied Science or a related field, or equivalent experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Teaching assigned undergraduate and/or graduate courses depending on unit need.
• Preparing syllabi and course materials.
• Delivering instruction and assessing student learning.
• Holding office hours.
• Fulfilling other instructional duties consistent with departmental needs.
