Job summary

BayMark Health Services, Inc. is seeking a part-time Program Physician for HCRC clinics in MA (Chicopee, Northampton, Greenfield, Westfield).

The physician will admit patients for methadone and buprenorphine treatment, obtain histories and physicals, and document in the EMR while guiding dosing decisions with the team. Requirements include Board Certified or Eligible in Addiction Medicine, MA license, and at least 6 months of Addiction Medicine experience.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Addiction Medicine.
• MA medical license is required.
• Minimum 6 months of Addiction Medicine experience.

Responsibilities

• Admit patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine treatment.
• Obtain patient history and perform physical examinations.
• Document in the EMR and write prescriptions for buprenorphine; monitor dosing with the team.
• Monitor patient dosages in collaboration with the Treatment Center Director, counselors, and dosing nurses.
• Consult on high-risk patients and conduct annual medication reviews.

Education

Board Certified or Eligible in Addiction Medicine

Must be licensed in MA

At least 6 months of experience in Addiction Medicine
