Job summary

Tuerk House, Inc is seeking an Addictions Counselor in Baltimore, MD for a part-time role. The counselor will plan and deliver individual and group counseling, maintain comprehensive records, and collaborate with the Program Director to execute treatment plans within the continuum of care.

Responsibilities include coordinating urine testing, coordinating with social services, and ensuring ethical adherence while supporting clients toward recovery. Evening hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and able to learn in-house software like SMART and Beacon Health.
• Understanding of TAP, bio-psycho-social aspects of dependency and mental illness.
• Ability to work with diverse clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Keep client records current per guidelines.
• Coordinate urine sample collection following protocols.
• Provide individual and group substance use counseling.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with Program Director.
• Refer clients to support services as needed.
• Maintain client charts and program forms.
