Prestige Healthcare Resources, Inc. is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor (part-time) to provide direct SUD treatment services through group and individual counseling, psychoeducation, and care planning in the OT and IOP programs in Largo, MD.

The role requires a thorough understanding of treatment philosophy, admission criteria, and dual diagnosis. You will assess, plan, document, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support recovery and healthy lifestyles.

Qualifications

• Trainee status from Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists or certification as a licensed addiction counselor.
• LCSW, LCPC, or CAC’s or higher required.

Responsabilités

• Maintains a caseload as assigned and in accordance with COMAR and CARF regulations.
• Ensures incoming clients have a complete psychosocial history and comprehensive assessment within 5 days of admission.
• Completes a Preliminary Treatment Plan within 3 days of admission.
• Prepares a Comprehensive Treatment Plan for all patients within 30 days of admission.
• Completes a Treatment Plan Update every 30 days following the Comprehensive Treatment Plan.
• Prepares an aftercare plan for all patients completing the program or being discharged.
