Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers – Ft. Benning, GA is hiring a part-time Retail Associate – Donor Door Greeter for the Attended Donation Center. You will greet donors, unload and process donations, and maintain donation records with a handheld device.

Must meet education and physical requirements, with cross-training to learn all retail areas. The position offers a starting pay of $13.81 per hour, with benefits including PTO, 401(k) with company match, life, dental and vision

Qualifications

• Average math skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Greets donors quickly and provides excellent customer service.
• Receives donated goods by unloading vehicles and carrying items.
• Provides receipts to donors and records donations using a handheld device.
• Organizes donations into bins to aid processing.
• Performs opening and closing tasks of the ADC and keeps the area neat.
• Assists truck drivers when loading/unloading donations.
• Works other areas of the store as requested by leadership.

Part-time

We are currently looking for a hard-working and dedicated Retail Associate – Donor Door Greeter for our Attended Donation Center located on Gaudette Avenue | Ft. Benning, GA 31905

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Inc.’s Retail Associate – ADC Donor Door Greeter responsibilities:

• Greets donors quickly and efficiently with excellent customer service.
• Operates all tasks independently.
• Receives donated goods from donors by unloading vehicles and carrying in donated items.
• Provides receipts to donors and maintains accurate donation records using a hand-held device.
• Organizes donations into bins as they are brought in to assist with accurate processing.
• Performs opening and closing tasks of the ADC.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keeping the work area neat and clean.
• Assists truck drivers when loading and unloading donations.
• Works other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.

You will be hired as a Retail Associate – ADC Donor Door Greeter, however, you will be cross-trained and expected to learn and work all areas of the retail operation.

A part-time position averages 20-25 hours per week. Hours will fluctuate based on business needs (i.e., seasonal changes, donation volumes, etc.) Operating days will fluctuate based on store location. The Retail Associate – ADC Donor Door Greeter must be available to work 9am- 6pm EST Monday through Sunday.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Average math skills.
• Ability to use a hand-held electronic device.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Prior experience working in a retail or customer service-related environment; preferred.
• Warehouse experience, preferred.
