Job summary

The Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Inc. is hiring a Retail Associate – ADC Donor Door Greeter for our Attended Donation Center at Ft. Benning, GA. This part-time role supports donor flow, processes donations, and delivers friendly service.

You will be cross-trained across the retail operation and scheduled for about 20–25 hours per week, typically 9am–6pm EST, Monday through Sunday, with days fluctuating by location.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able to operate a hand-held device.
• Part-time schedule 20–25 hours per week; 9am–6pm EST.

Responsibilities

• Greets donors with excellent customer service.
• Receives donated goods and unloads vehicles.
• Provides receipts and maintains donation records on a handheld device.
• Organizes donations into bins for processing.
• Performs opening and closing tasks and keeps area neat.
• Assists truck drivers with loading/unloading.
• Works in all areas of the retail operation as needed.

Part-time

We are currently looking for a hard-working and dedicated Retail Associate – Donor Door Greeter for our Attended Donation Center located on Gaudette Avenue | Ft. Benning, GA 31905

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Inc.’s Retail Associate – ADC Donor Door Greeter responsibilities:

• Greets donors quickly and efficiently with excellent customer service.
• Operates all tasks independently.
• Receives donated goods from donors by unloading vehicles and carrying in donated items.
• Provides receipts to donors and maintains accurate donation records using a hand-held device.
• Organizes donations into bins as they are brought in to assist with accurate processing.
• Performs opening and closing tasks of the ADC.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keeping the work area neat and clean.
• Assists truck drivers when loading and unloading donations.
• Works other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.

You will be hired as a Retail Associate – ADC Donor Door Greeter, however, you will be cross-trained and expected to learn and work all areas of the retail operation.

A part-time position averages 20-25 hours per week. Hours will fluctuate based on business needs (i.e., seasonal changes, donation volumes, etc.) Operating days will fluctuate based on store location. The Retail Associate – ADC Donor Door Greeter must be available to work 9am- 6pm EST Monday through Sunday.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Ability to use a hand-held electronic device.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Prior experience working in a retail or customer service-related environment; preferred.
• Warehouse experience, preferred.
