Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Carrollton, GA is hiring a Retail Associate – Donor Door Greeter on a part-time basis. The role involves greeting donors, receiving donations, issuing receipts with a handheld device, sorting items, maintaining clean work areas, and assisting with loading/unloading donations.

Cross-training across store operations is expected. The position averages 20–25 hours per week with shifts Monday through Sunday; starting pay is $13.00 per hour and a PTO plan,

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors quickly and provide excellent customer service.
• Receive donated goods from donors by unloading vehicles and carrying in items.
• Provide receipts to donors and maintain accurate donation records using a handheld device.
• Organize donations into bins to assist with processing.
• Perform general housekeeping and keep the work area neat and clean.
• Assist truck drivers with loading and unloading donations.
• Work across different store areas as needed by leadership.

Part-time

The Carrollton retail store, located on 1301 South Park St, is currently looking for a hard-working and dedicated Retail Associate – Donor Door Greeter.

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Inc.’s Retail Associate – Donor Door Greeter responsibilities:

• Greets donors quickly and efficiently with excellent customer service.
• Receives donated goods from donors by unloading vehicles and carrying in donated items.
• Provides receipts to donors and maintains accurate donation records using a hand-held device.
• Organizes donations into bins as they are brought in to assist with accurate processing.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keeping the work area neat and clean.
• Assists truck drivers when loading and unloading donations.
• Works other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.

You will be hired as a Retail Associate – Donor Door Greeter, however, you will be cross-trained and expected to learn and work all areas of the retail operation.

A part-time position averages 20-25 hours per week. Hours will fluctuate based on business needs (i.e., seasonal changes, donation volumes, etc.) Operating days will fluctuate based on store location. The Retail Associate – Donor Door Greeter must be available to work any shifts Monday through Sunday.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Ability to use a hand-held electronic device.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Prior experience working in a retail or customer service-related environment; preferred.
• Warehouse experience, preferred.
