Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for our 16-hour-per-week role in the Davie Medical Center - Acute Care Rehabilitation department. The position requires NC licensure, BS in PT, and CPR certification. IP experience is required, OP experience is a bonus, and you will work at least 16 hours a month including one weekend and one holiday weekend.

Base pay is $49 per hour. The role emphasizes patient care assessments, documentation, productivity, and supervising PT students

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the State of North Carolina with current licensure.
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited physical therapy school.
• CPR certification required every two years.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care assessment and treatment. Ensures evaluations and treatments are comprehensive and within Standard of Practice.
• Maintains accurate patient documentation: evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes per policy.
• Meets department financial and productivity standards and adjusts schedules to meet patient needs.
• Participates in process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency of services.
• Promotes professional development and education of other health care workers; may present/state-of-the-art information.
• Supervises PT students and PT assistant students during clinical rotations; ensures quality patient care.
