Paul House & Health Care Center is seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and dependable Activity Aide to join our team. The Activity Aide assists with planning and providing recreational, social, and therapeutic activities that promote resident engagement, independence, and quality of life.

Assist with organizing and conducting recreational, social, and group activities for residents
Encourage and assist residents with participation in scheduled activities
Provide individual activities and engagement for residents as appropriate
Assist with holiday celebrations, special events, games, crafts, music, and other programs
Prepare activity areas and supplies before programs and assist with cleanup afterward
Assist residents to and from scheduled activities as needed
Develop positive and respectful relationships with residents
Observe resident participation and communicate changes or concerns to the appropriate team member
Assist with maintaining activity calendars, attendance records, and other required documentation
Collaborate with nursing, Social Services, dietary, and other departments to support resident needs
Maintain resident dignity, privacy, safety, and confidentiality
Follow facility policies, procedures, and applicable safety requirements
Perform additional activities-related duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in activities, recreation, long-term care, senior care, or a related setting preferred
Friendly, energetic, patient, and compassionate personality
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Creative and comfortable engaging residents individually and in groups
Dependable, organized, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to assist residents with mobility to and from activities as needed
Must meet applicable health and background requirements
Schedule may include weekdays and weekends
Holiday availability may be required based on resident programming and facility needs
