Job summary

Silverado in Calabasas is seeking a Resident Engagement Assistant to bring joy, engagement, and purpose to residents through daily activity programs. The role blends energy, empathy, and imagination to create meaningful moments in memory care.

You will assist with planning, memory enrichment activities, and therapy session support, working a part-time AM shift. This position includes paid training and growth opportunities within Silverado's trusted care environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent required.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Previous experience with older adults or memory care preferred.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.).

Schedule Part Time, AM shift, Saturday - Monday

Anticipated pay range

$20 - $24 USD
