Silverado North Shore is hiring a Resident Engagement (Activities) Assistant to bring joy and purpose to residents’ daily lives through recreational programming. You’ll work with a supportive team at a memory care leader recognized by Fortune and Great Place to Work.

The role blends energy, empathy, and creativity to craft meaningful moments, supporting residents with dementia and enhancing engagement during daily activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent required.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Previous experience with older adults or memory care preferred.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)

Schedule: PRN (Per Diem), AM shift, variable days

Anticipated pay range

$17—$18 USD
