We currently have an opening for a part-time Activities Assistant in our long-standing, reputable, faith-based assisted living community in Colorado.

The Activities Assistant will assist the Activity Director in developing a stimulating program that provides social, entertaining, and recreational activities that meet residents’ physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Education/Experience: High school degree or equivalent preferred. Previous experience working in a care facility desired. Certified Activity Director, Recreational Therapist, or Occupational Therapist is desired. Must have previous experience in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Publisher, Print Shop, and the ability to work with other applicable software.
Working Environment/Physical Requirements: Position requires strenuous physical work. Heavy lifting, pushing or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently. Drives and/or accompanies residents to outside activities frequently, occasionally in inclement weather.
