Job Summary

Assist in developing and implementing resident activity programs in accordance with federal and state regulations, as well as company policies. Conduct activities that enhance residents' well-being and engagement.

Position Overview
  • Organize programs for various resident groups based on individual needs and preferences.
  • Maintain a balanced schedule of recreational activities.
  • Facilitate group and one-on-one activities, coordinate community events, and engage residents, families, and staff.
  • Assist in preparing monthly Life Enrichment calendars and organize activity supplies.
  • Report on activity program progress and assist residents with outings, including driving company vehicles if necessary.
  • Participate in training and recognize changes in residents' conditions for appropriate intervention.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and supervise volunteers as needed.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrate core values: Love, Kindness, Honesty, Goodness, Fairness, Respect.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 6 months experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of senior wellness, engagement techniques, and resourcefulness in activity planning.
  • Enjoy working with seniors, empathetic, creative, resourceful, and possess a caring attitude.
  • Clean driving record required.
