Job summary

Edenbrook on Second Avenue, part of Eden East Network, is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Activity Assistant to support residents in Kingston, PA.

The role coordinates and participates in individual, small-group, and large-group activities, documents participation in the medical record, and helps create joyful moments while ensuring area safety.

Schedule requires every other weekend and every other holiday; pay is $13.25 per hour.

• Help design programs to encourage socialization.
• Provide entertainment, relaxation, fulfillment, and daily living skills support.
• Prepare and maintain progress reports on residents.
• Keep activity areas safe and well maintained.
• Generate enthusiasm to motivate participation.

Position: Part-Time Activity Assistant

• Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Pay: $13.25/HR

The Activity Assistant organizes and participates in person-specific activity programming, including one-to-one interventions, small-group facilitation, and large-group presentations. Capable of documenting individual participation and the value of approaches in the medical record.

Job functions will include:

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing activities to meet the physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and emotional needs of our residents
• Create environments where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus each and every day
• Help design programs to encourage socialization
• Provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment and improve daily living skills
• Prepare and maintain reports on resident’s progress
• Ensure activity areas are safe and well maintained
• Generate enthusiasm to encourage and motivate participation
