Job Title: Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist to provide temporary support to a corporate accounting team. This individual will assist with supplier verification and general accounts payable activities while a team member is on leave. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous office or administrative experience, an accounting or business-related experience, or looking to gain hands‑on experience within a corporate accounting environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank verification for new suppliers and vendors.
• Contact suppliers directly to verbally confirm banking and payment information.
• Review supplier information for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with uploading accounts payable invoices into an online portal.
• Support invoice vouchering and other routine accounts payable processes.
• Navigate the supplier portal to review and validate vendor information.
• Provide additional administrative and accounts payable support as needed.
• Communicate professionally with external suppliers and internal team members.
• Maintain accuracy and confidentiality when handling banking and supplier information.

Work Environment

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
