Job description

Vaco has partnered with a client that is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This role requires at least 3 years of recent Accounts Payable experience, as well as QuickBooks online experience. This is a part-time (20-25 hours/week), two-month contract role, that is fully onsite. This position pays up to $30 per hour and is interviewing this week!

Requirements for the position include:
  • Completing payments and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
  • Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
  • Ensuring outstanding balances are updated with credit memos that are due
  • Paying employees by receiving and verifying expense reports using company-specific accounting software
  • Verifying vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
