Qualifications

• Master's in accountancy or MBA with accounting concentration required.
• Bachelor's in business with accounting emphasis or economics with an accounting emphasis required.
• AND Master's in business, business administration, economics, taxation, finance or the equivalent required.
• Note: CPA license is an acceptable alternative qualification for this discipline.
• Sensitivity to and understanding of diverse college student backgrounds (AB 1725, 87360a).

Responsabilités

• Provide instruction in accordance with Imperial Valley College curriculum and approved outlines.
• Arrange classes based on availability, seniority and qualifications; handle class prep, grading and evaluations.
• Maintain records including grades, syllabi and attendance by deadlines.
• Uphold professional conduct and ethics appropriate to the faculty role.
• Advise students on academic matters and progress.
• Maintain current competency in the accounting field.

Formation

Master's in accountancy or MBA with accounting concentration
