Job summary

Laurel Ridge Community College invites applications for part-time Adjunct Faculty in Accounting to teach day, evening and weekend courses at the Fauquier Campus, Middletown Campus, and Luray-Page County Center as needed. Faculty listings are on a continuous basis and applicants will be contacted as needed.

Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field with accounting credits, or a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Business/Finance with CPA and relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting is required.
• Alternative credential may be approved for a Bachelor's in Accounting/Business/Finance with CPA and two years of related work experience.
• 18 graduate credits in Accounting if using related field option.
• Ability to use instructional technology is required.
• Experience with Canvas or other online course tools is desirable.
• College-level teaching experience, online teaching is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Teach college-level accounting courses (day, evening, weekend).
• Possibly distance learning on/off campus courses.
• Deliver courses across Fauquier, Middletown, and Luray-Page County Center as needed.
