Job summary

Gordon Brothers is seeking a Part-Time Staff Analyst in the Accounting team located in Mequon, WI. This role offers hands-on experience supporting a complex business while pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

You will work on monthly close tasks, invoicing, cash receipts, and AP processing, with opportunities to assist audits and tax workpapers. Strong MS Office skills and a collaborative mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Previous accounting internship or co-op experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong Excel and Word skills and familiarity with MS Office are essential.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities are important for team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with monthly close activities including journal entry preparation.
• Assisting in the daily preparation and delivery of sales invoices to clients for US & Canadian-based Appraisal entities.
• Recording daily cash receipts for US & Canadian-based Appraisal entities.
• Recording accounts payable invoices from vendors and processing payments weekly.
• Collaborating to create workpapers to support external audits and the preparation of sales tax and income tax returns.
• Completing ad hoc special projects and analyses as requested to support the Accounting team.
