Job summary

Laurel Ridge Community College invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty in Accounting. Instructors teach a range of day, evening and weekend courses, including distance learning options both on and off campus.

Adjunct positions are appointed per course and per semester as needed. Candidates must reside in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland or DC, and hold a Master’s in Accounting or related field with relevant teaching or industry experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Experience with Canvas or similar LMS preferred.
• Ability to teach day/evening/weekend courses online or on campus.

Responsibilities

• Teach college-level Accounting courses for day, evening and weekend sessions.
• Deliver distance learning courses on and off campus.
• Participate in course planning, assessment and student advising.
