Job summary

Motlow is seeking a Part-Time Testing Technician at the Chattanooga State campus to coordinate accommodated exams for eligible students. You will work with CAADS, faculty, and students to schedule exams, implement accommodations, and maintain testing records in a confidential, accessible setting.

The role requires strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. A flexible schedule is expected, with early mornings and extended hours during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience in educational, administrative, testing, or student-services settings.
• Strong organization, detail-orientation, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Effective written and verbal communication; proficiency with workplace tech.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate accommodated testing appointments for students registered with CAADS.
• Verify approved accommodations and ensure appropriate testing supports.
• Communicate scheduling, testing procedures, expectations, and concerns.
• Maintain a respectful, accessible, reduced-distraction testing environment.
• Monitor testing sessions and document irregularities or concerns.
• Return completed exams securely and inform faculty/CAADS of concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information and testing records.
