The role involves creating Epic accounts, prioritizing insurance coverages, and assisting in the ED/Trauma Bay registration process.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities; strong communication.
Computer literacy and ability to handle customers.
1–3 years in registration, billing, customer service, or managed care organization preferred.

Responsibilities

Create Epic accounts from scheduling appointments and collect demographic and insurance information.
Answer questions about appointments or transfers to scheduling, service area, or physician office.
Code and organize Daily Worklist according to coding standards and ensure alignment with documentation.
Maintain productivity and quality standards while following MSP questionnaires and insurance verification procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned in Access Unit Department.
