Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for Badge Administration in Lakewood, NJ. You will help secure residents and visitors by managing access points, verifying credentials, and documenting activity on tablet systems.

You will work with a team dedicated to reliability, integrity, and a caring culture. The role requires strong communication, observational skills, and a commitment to safety. Training and shift flexibility are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge is preferred.
• Proficient using a computer or tablet.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted in accordance with laws.
• Criminal history considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screening required where legally permitted.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, contractors, and delivery personnel while performing access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify authorization, and maintain visitor/vehicle/incident records.
• Control access according to procedures and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular patrols of grounds and common areas to identify security concerns.
