Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge is preferred.
• Proficient using a computer or tablet.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted in accordance with laws.
• Criminal history considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screening required where legally permitted.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, contractors, and delivery personnel while performing access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify authorization, and maintain visitor/vehicle/incident records.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident records.
• Control access to the residential community in accordance with established procedures and communicate access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds, common areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
