Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Access Audit in Shepherdsville, KY to protect clients in tech/media/telecom environments. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and report security concerns with a strong customer service focus.

This role offers flexible scheduling via the Claim a Shift platform, competitive pay of $17.63 per hour, and a pathway to additional shifts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.
• Licesing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out access control procedures.
• Verify identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and contractor access permissions; issue and collect visitor badges and maintain records.
• Monitor entry/exit points, alarms, cameras, and access control systems; report unusual activity and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of interior/exterior areas to deter unauthorized access.
