Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in North Jackson, OH. You will manage access control, monitor entry points, and provide professional service to employees, visitors, and vendors on a manufacturing site.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue and collect visitor or contractor credentials, and maintain entry/exit records.
• Screen incoming personnel, vehicles, deliveries, and materials according to facility procedures; report unauthorized access or irregularities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, production-area exteriors, parking areas, and facility perimeter; document observations and report hazards.
