Allied Universal in North Jackson, OH is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Access Control to safeguard facilities and manage entry points. You will monitor access, verify credentials, and support a secure, welcoming environment while following site procedures.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and access‑control policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue and collect visitor or contractor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Screen incoming personnel, vehicles, deliveries, and materials in accordance with facility procedures; report unauthorized access attempts or irregularities to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production‑area exteriors, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; document observations and report hazards, damaged property, and unusual activity.
