Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Background histories considered with applicable laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply locally.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access points and credential systems; verify authorization for entry and maintain records.
• Control access to property areas by checking IDs and issuing temporary credentials as needed.
• Respond to incidents and alarms; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of building, common areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
