Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a part-time access control and driving role in Miami Beach, FL. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and support badge access while delivering excellent customer service to residents and visitors.

This position requires a valid driver's license and a minimum of two years in security; a background check and drug screening are part of the process. Hours include Wed and Thu afternoons.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by enforcing site access procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization and credentials, and maintain access records.
• Control access by screening visitors and directing authorized individuals.
• Respond calmly to incidents following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
