Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Madison, AL. This role offers flexible, anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform, and supports earning up to a full‑time schedule as needed.

You will protect personnel and property, perform access-control duties at a logistics site, and maintain visitor/vehicle records with a strong emphasis on incident response and customer service.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and manage access points at a logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery or driver entry requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, and perimeter locations to help identify security-related concerns.
